Working in fibre/mixed media traditions, Maggie Tchir (Nelson) and Kathleen Hill (Rossland) are creating new work in the form of a collaborative installation titled COSMIC HOUSE.
In using the analogy of 'house' as the setting for ideas about our larger 'home', the earth, the artists wish to create an engaging work which has the potential to bring the participant face to face with aspects of our human world that are at odds with our Cosmic House – our planet home.

Moving In and Starting Work at Studio2
Working with Lutradur, silk, canvas and handmade felt on a large scale, we begin to construct the Cosmic House.
